In this tutorial, we'll be going over how to set up your email account in an email client. The settings will be the same for any email client. In this tutorial, we'll be using Outlook Express.
Keep in mind, you can always view your email from any machine on the internet by going to https://shellsurf.com/mail.
Here we go!
Open up Outlook Express and go to "Tools -> Accounts".

Click the "Add" button, then select "Mail".

Enter your name and click the "Next" button.

Enter your email address and click the "Next" button.

Select "POP3" as your incoming mail server type.
Enter your domain (without the "www" prefix) for both the incoming and outgoing mail servers.
Click the "Next" button.

Enter your username and password, and check the "Remember Password" checkbox (optional).
Click the "Next" button to continue.

Click the "Finish" button to continue.

Select the account you just created and click the "Properties" button.

Select the "Servers" tab.
Check the "My server requires authentication" checkbox under "Outgoing Mail Server".

Select the "Advanced" tab.
Check the "This server requires an encrypted connection (SSL)" on both the Incoming and Outgoing servers.
Change the outgoing server port to 465 and the incoming server port to 995.
Check the "Leave a copy of messages on server" checkbox under "Delivery".
Check the "Remove from server after 7 days" checkbox and change the number of days to 7.
Click the "OK" button.

Click the "Close" button.

That's it. You should now be able to send and receive email. One thing to note: you may be shown a warning when you send or receive mail, such as the following:

Go ahead and click "Yes" to continue using the server.
What this means is that the security certificate that is being used to secure your email coming in and going out is not verified by a third party. That doesn't mean it doesn't work, just that a third party has not been paid to verify that it works.
